The Addict Fit Story

 

Founded in 2018, Addict Fit was built through faith, discipline, and resilience.

Founder Pat Donaldson’s addiction to fitness began in his adolescence, competing in Little League football and playing basketball at a high level. From the beginning, training was more than a sport. It became a foundation for structure, confidence, and mental strength.

 

In 2017, Pat entered one of the most challenging seasons of his life, spending over a year homeless while sleeping in his car. Holding firmly to his faith in God and a vision greater than his circumstances, the gym became his sanctuary and the only place he could shower and prepare for work each morning. What began as necessity became a lifeline.

Through training, prayer, and discipline, fitness strengthened him mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. It was in this season that the vision for Addict Fit was born.

A Brand Is Born

 

From his apartment in downtown Miami, Pat transformed survival into purpose.

In 2020, during the uncertainty of the pandemic, a small test run of Addict Fit apparel sold out in a single day. People connected not just to the product, but to the story behind it. What started in the back of a car evolved into a movement built on consistency, belief, and resilience.

 

On November 25, 2022, Addict Fit officially launched, marking the realization of a vision rooted in faith and relentless discipline.
